Steel is a man-made alloy. It isn't found lying around in nature. How is it an "element" by any definition? I propose switching out "steel" with "iron". Iron is found naturally all over the place; it's even in our bloodstream. Doesn't it make more sense to have Iron magic, or Metal magic; maybe Mineral or Rock? Steel doesn't make much ...
